Ouh la bonne surprise que voilà !
Un vrai bonheur que ce petit dessin animé. Le pitch :
Dans le cœur de l'Amérique des années 50, en pleine guerre froide entre les Etats-Unis ultra-conformistes et les Russes communistes, un jeune enfant de 9 ans, Hogart Hughes rêve plus aux récits de science-fiction qu'aux menaces de guerre qui envahissent l'écran de télévision. Durant ses ballades nocturnes, il rencontrera un étrange robot géant de fer, avec lequel il va lier une grande d'amitié. Mais le secret de Hogarth sera bien vite découvert...
C'est drôle, bien foutu, pas cucu et pis c'est le regretté M.Kamen au score.

pareil !! ce film n'a rien à envier aux disney niveau animation et est vraiment très plaisant. avec une vraie réflexion sur la diffèrence, l'acceptation de l'autre,etc...mais traité intelligement. de manière a être accessible aux parents comme aux enfants.
pas mal d'humour aussi qui fait souvent mouche, des personnages très attachants, du tout bon !!
et choisir comme "intrus" rejetté de tous un robot géant de 10 M, fallait le faire quand même !!
Excellent DA à la fois intelligent et émouvant, loin des simagrées niaiseuses des derniers Disney. Brad Bird a également bossé sur les Simpsons il me semble et est aux manettes de The Incredibles, le prochain Pixar. Vivement!

Pourquoi petit ?
J'entends par là qu'on a pas subi de batage médiatique sur ce film à sa sortie (genre Nemo ou Shreck...) et qu'il n'a pas connu le succés qu'il méritait en salles ! Sinon j'adore vraiment !

J'ai du écrire trois thread diffèrents sur trois forums diffèrents (dont DevilDead avant le crash) pour faire connaître ce film, je suis content de voir que personne n'oublie ce film
Rien de plus à dire qui n'est déjà été dit : humour + émotion + character design sympa + bon doublage = excellent moment
