Important de savoir aussi que le nouveau montage n'est absolument pas supervisé par Donner lui même mais par son ancien assistant, Michael Thau...On ne peut donc pas vraiment parler de Donner's cut.

Michael Thau, who used to be my assistant and is a good little editor - [said that] there were so many requests to Warner Brothers to see my cut that he went to them and they authorized it. He's been working for about four or five months now getting all the negatives and cuts out of England. A lot of it's been destroyed, a lot of it wasn't kept. But everything that he was able to [get], he said it will probably be about 70 percent my footage.

IGN: So the rest will be footage Lester shot?

Donner: Yeah. I don't even want to see it until it comes out in the theater.

IGN: But you do want to see it?

Donner: Oh, s**t yeah! But I don't want to cut it. I mean, I'm too far away from it now.

je crois que l'expérience a été trop douloureuse pour Donner, mais Thau devrait faire du bon boulot.

Enfin, ce serait effectivement chouette d'avoir enfin le theatrical cut de Superman I avec VF d'origine hein
Quant à la nouvelle vision du II, je salive déjà

le montage cinema de Superman I sera inclut dans le coffret 14 dvd.

le montage Donner Cut sera dispo hors du coffret.

Supergirl ne fait pas partie du coffret 14 dvd

j'oubliais, pour les malades comme moi et Marvin, Warner a confirmé avoir retrouvé les scènes coupées de Superman IV (les 45 minutes ?) avec le premier homme nucléaire qui seront proposés en bonus et pas dans un montage long.

Il se confirme que la version "Donner's cut" sera également vendue à l'unité...Ce qui est en soit, une excellente nouvelle même si je sens que je vais me taper le coffret intégral. Ils ont intéressé à bosser le packaging.
