Cloverfield - Matt Reeves (2008)

Selon AICN, JJ Abrams prépare Cloverfield, un film de monstre. Un gros monstre et un film particulier, puisque le film prendrait le point de vue de personnes filmant l'attaque d'un énorme monstre ravageant New York City.

Selon AICN toujours, le teaser est en cours de montage et il serait présenté devant Transformers, et sortirait courant 2008.

il tourne aussi Star Trek 11 ou 10 à l'automne le père Abrahms, non ?

Finalement, on en apprend un peu plus jour après jour... JJ ABrams ecrit et produit mais c'est le nom de Matt Reeves qui est apparu concernant la réalisation de ce film de monstre. Visiblemnt, Cloverfield serait aussi un nom de code pour ce film qui s'appelera différement au final.

Il est supposé sortir le 18 janvier 2008 sous la bannière Paramount.

ça va être énorme, je ne me suis toujours pas remis de la fin de la saison 3 de Lost...

Details Emerging on Abrams' "Cloverfield"
So have you seen "Transformers" yet? If so, did you catch the mysterious trailer that ran before it? It was the one showing a going-away party in New York shot on home video, when suddenly a loud roar shakes the city. The partiers head to the roof of the building to see a massive explosion on the horizon, and then flaming debris starts flying into the streets, including the head of the Statue of Liberty ... all of it shot "Blair Witch" style.
And then we learn it's a J.J. Abrams movie premiering January 18, 2008 ...
and there's no title!

The Hollywood trade papers talked about it this morning, and though they are mostly in the dark about it too, they did reveal a few details about the project apparently code-named "Cloverfield." The movie — whatever its real title is going to be — revolves around a monster attack in New York as told from the point of view of a small group of people. It is being directed by Matt Reeves, who co-created Felicity with Abrams, and is written by Drew Goddard, who has worked with Abrams on Lost and Alias. Bryan Burk, who is producing "Star Trek XI" with Abrams, is also producing "Cloverfield." The cast includes Michael Stahl-David, who worked with Kate Mulgrew on The Black Donnellys.

"Paramount greenlighted the project under a veil of heavy secrecy in February, about the same time that Abrams agreed to the take over the directing reins of the new 'Star Trek' film," states a front-page story in The Hollywood Reporter. "The movie, which is believed to have a relatively modest budget of about $30 million, began shooting in mid-June in New York.
With 'Transformers' generating huge tracking numbers in the weeks before its release, the studio decided to put footage from 'Cloverfield' in a teaser in front of 'Transformers' to build buzz." Apparently the movie is still shooting in New York presently.

Daily Variety reports that a staffer at Bad Robot, Abrams' production company (located in Santa Monica near the "Cloverfield" exit from the I-10 —
coincidence?) "feigned ignorance" about the trailer.

Aussi en decriptant la bande annonce un type a trouver les informations suivantes quand la presentatrice de nouvelle decrit ce quis e passe on y vois 12:36 qui serait dans la bible la venue de l'apocalypse!!!

j'ai de plus en plus l'impression que Cthulhu va venir nous rendre une petite visite le 18 janvier...

Ca a du sens :
- un monstre (ce que laisse suggerer cet incroyable teaser)
- si on se dit que tout est vu à travers les images dv, qui font que certains détails nous échappe, ça reste dans "l'indescriptible horreur" qui fait le style de Lovecraft.

Regarding the online stuff you posted: yeah, we're doing some fun stuff on the web. But, obviously, if the movie doesn't kick some massive ASS, who gives a rat's about what's online? So as you can imagine, we're focusing mostly on THAT. For what it's worth, the only site of ours that people have even FOUND is the 1-18-08.com site. The others (like the Ethan Haas sites) have nothing to do with us.

un des meilleurs teasers jamais produits (la rumeur veut que Abrams l'a monté lui-même) sur un film top secret, chose hallucinante à l'heure d'internet.

Ca donne envie. Après, le film sera peut-être une bouze. En attendant, j'ai hate d'en voir plus...
