Ce curieux film de Roger Corman de 1971 ressort chez MGM le 24/08 en double feature avec Wild in the Streets.

Sait-on s'il s'agit de la version cut de 79 mn effectuée par AIP ou si Corman a pu remonter sa version originale de 90 mn?

The final edit of the film may not be what Corman originally intended (in a version that must be lost, as MGM's superb restoration team would have likely uncovered it and released it on this DVD), but what remains is roughly 90% of his original vision and doesn't come across as a lost opportunity (the voiceovers of "God" and the original panoramic ending are apparently the only real omissions).

Vu dans l'édition MGM (donc partielle d'après ce que j'ai compris)... film assez étonnant mais aussi un peu bordélique dans sa narration... pas déplaisant non plus... très flower-power dans sa thématique, voire écolo avant l'heure... on pourrait même avancer que c'est un post-nuke hippie
