"GHOST SON: DEMONS director Lamberto Bava makes a return to the genre after a long respite with this ridiculous South Africa-lensed, English-language production. It could not have been the muddled script that attracted the likes of Laura (MULHOLLAND DR.) Harring, John (THE MUMMY) Hannah and Pete (DARK WATER) Postlethwaite. Harring and Hannah (who both engage in full-frontal nude scenes) play a couple madly in love. When Hannah dies in a car accident, his spirit evidently returns to impregnate the grieving widow. A year later, something’s not quite right with the baby, and Hannah’s obsession continues to stretch from beyond the grave. Like its dusty African farm setting, GHOST SON withers in the heat. Many an unintentional chuckle (possessed infant stalking mother) will be gained by watching the silly GHOST SON.

Je vais peut-être me faire allumer ici 
mais de Lamberto Bava j'avais surtout apprécié les séries de Romantic Fantasy qu'il avait fait durant les années 90. Certes c'est à l'eau de rose (alors que je déteste çà), certes c'est très kitsch, mais la narration est tellement bien maîtrisée !!
