IMDB : The timeless The Wizard of Oz is available for pre-order on DVD in a special collector's edition. The story of a little girl who is transported by twister to the wonderful land of Oz, angering a very green, very nasty witch in the process, has inspired (and even scared, a little) children and adults for over 60 years. The three-disc DVD set includes, in a addition to deleted scenes and outtakes, more featurettes than Munchkins in Munchkinland. There are also collector's edition exclusives that come with the set, such as reproductions of the Grauman's Chinese Theatre souvenir program from the premiere, the studio's invitation to the premiere that included tickets to the original opening night and a deluxe Collector's Portfolio, with reproductions of the original 1939 Kodachrome publicity art (including nine portraits and on-set photographs). You couldn't click your heels harder together and get a better edition of the film.
