January 4: MORTUARY gets rolling, sets cast

Tobe Hooper begins shooting today in Pomona, CA on his new horror film MORTUARY, which reunites him with several of his collaborators from TOOLBOX MURDERS, including producer Tony DiDio, scriptwriters Adam Gierasch (who tells Fango, "If people like slime and vomiting and weird monsters, they’ll love this") and Jace Anderson, makeup FX artists Dean and Starr Jones and actors Greg Travis and Price Carson. Also in the cast are young actors Dan (’SALEM’S LOT) Byrd, Alexandra (TEQUILA BODY SHOTS) Adi, Courtney (MTV’s UNDRESSED) Peldon and Bug Hall (Alfalfa from the LITTLE RASCALS movie, all grown up and "playing a total sleazeball," according to Gierasch), along with Michael Shamus Wiles, Lee Garlington and Gierasch himself as "the 90-year-old dead piano teacher, Mr. Barstow." The movie is about a family that moves to a small town and takes on the job of running a local funeral home, where an evil presence resides in the adjoining cemetery; Evan (HOME SICK) Katz and Peter Katz are producing with DiDio. Encore faut-il que le père Hooper ne s'emmêle pas trop les pinceaux et parviennent à ne pas faire ronfler son audience devant des vomissements insipides. Mais on y croit, tous avec toi Tobe !!!

Le film sort en salles en France!

C'est al fabrique de Films ( qui a sorti Le Crime farpait et The Descent) qui s'y colle et c'est pour le 5 avril 2006 - devrons-nous pressentir qqchose sur Gerardmer 2006?-

il parait que c'est "assez moyen"...

les "il parait que " "on m'a dit que " "j'ai entendu dire que" je m'en tape.
Le fait de pouvoir voir un Tobe Hooper sur grand écran suffit à mon bonheur.
Un forumer bien intentionné (et qui n'est pas noire) m'a déjà soufflé qur Toolbox Murders était nase et il se toruve que j'avais adoré le retour du Hooper à l'horreur glauque. Et de revoir tout cela au cinéma, je fonce.

ben si il y'a un distrib france c'est normal. y'a que ca qui passe là bas ou presque franchement ils ont plein de pognon la fabrique pour sortir un tobe
