Ce film sent le truc nawak a des kilometres a la ronde, James Wong a ete embauche a la derniere minute et a du rebosse sur le scenar en septembre pour un tournage qui commence en novembre

[GOHAN] Goku's kindly, wise grandfather, he looks like he's in his 70s but moves like Jet Li. An accomplished martial artist who trains Goku on the bow staff, he loves his grandson and is happy to prepare a special feast for him on his 18th birthday, as well as a special gift: a 3 star Dragon Ball. Bonne et mauvaise nouvelle pour les fans de San Goku ! La sortie de Dragonball, l'adaptation live du manga d'Akira Toriyama signée James "Destination Finale" Wong, est repoussée. Bonne nouvelle car lancé en décembre dernier pour une sortie durant l'été 2008, le tournage devrait donc s'étaler tout au long de l'année 2008 et laisser à l'équipe de production le temps nécessaire pour livrer un film abouti. Mauvaise nouvelle car on ne verra pas ce film très attendu avant le premier semestre 2009. Au générique, on retrouve Justin Chatwin en San Goku, James Marsters en Piccolo, Jamie Chung en Chi Chi, Emmy Rossum en Bulma, Park Joon en Yamcha et le vétéran Chow Yun-Fat en... Tortue Géniale !
