THE GRUDGE - le DVD du Remake

Parce que le posts consacré à THE GRUDGE mixe allegrement le film original et le remake et que c'est un joyeux foutoir plein de mauvaise foi (sisi, qqn dit qu'il a aimé ), j'ouvre ce thread à l'occasion de l'annonce des spef du DVD du remake américain qui sortira le 1er février:

Sony Pictures Home Video has released specs for its DVD release of Takashi Shimizu’s THE GRUDGE, which streets (along with a VHS version) February 1. The letterboxed transfer with Dolby 5.1 audio will be accompanied by the following extras:

• Cast and crew commentary including producer Sam Raimi, actors Sarah Michelle Gellar and Ted Raimi and others
• A five-part making-of documentary, with chapters entitled "The Birth of The Grudge," "Myth of JU-ON," "Culture Shock: The American Cast in Japan," "Designing the GRUDGE House," "A New Direction" and "Understanding Takashi Shimizu"
• The "Under the Skin" featurette, a medical explanation of the fear response in film

Retail price will be $28.95. —Michael Gingold

Ben j'ai jamais vu le DTV (et je veux !!!), mais le film cine etait pas si mal que ca. De tres bons effets horrifiques, mais un scenar faiblard et decousu...

j'ai adore Ju-On The Grudge, l'un des meilleurs films d'horreur des dernieres annees.
The Grudge (le remake) est l'un des plus mauvais films de l'annee, dommage pour Shimizu d'avoir rate a ce point ce film, le scenario est tres mauvais (il perd tout le cote mystere de l'original), les scenes de peur tres mal faites (beaucoup de jump scares ridicule, y'en a meme 3 avec un chat!!! )
et la climax et la fin sont d'une nullite rare.
Une vrai deception!

This edition, they reveal, will include scenes trimmed for the PG-13 rating, including moments involving child endangerment and at least one very cool-sounding setpiece (which we won’t spoil here). This cut may also eliminate a scene or two in THE GRUDGE designed to explain the supernatural concepts to American audiences."

C'est vrai.
il y a deux ans je me suis douché chez Superfly. Alors que mes deux mains frottaient énergiquement mon cuire chevelu, une pogne surgit de nul part tenta de me carresser le bas ventre. Quand j'ai vu la tronche de Richard Kiel au bout du bras de la pogne, j'ai failli avoir une attaque !!

C'est vrai.

In case you weren't already aware, Sony Home Entertainment has an unrated cut of The Grudge due for release later in the year. This edition will include scenes trimmed in order to bring the theatrical cut to a PG-13 rating. According to director Takashi Shimizu, the extended edition will expand on the plot, especially the famous croaking noise that the ghost makes before it attacks its victims. Also included on this new disc will be an alternate ending, though not added back into the film.
