In Venice, California in the mid '70's, the sport of surfing brought together a group of teenagers from a rough neighborhood. Riding the waves at the Pacific Ocean Park pier, a graveyard of a former amusement park, the boys from "Dogtown" joined the Zephyr skate team (or Z-boys). Known for their aggressive style, awe-inspiring moves and hard street attitude, the Z-Boys spent mornings and afternoons skateboarding. Taking the death-defying moves of surfing and applying them to skateboarding, the Z-Boys became overnight sensations - local legends - and revolutionized the art of skateboarding, transforming youth culture forever.
Sweet Sixteen c'était Kennneth Loach, par contre la réalisatrice en question a réalisé 13, un film indie avec Holly Hunter sorti l'année dernière et qui avait fait un peu parlé de lui pour sa description d'une jeunesse americaine totalement désoeuvré et depréssive à la Larry Clark. En tout cas ce film peut-être sympa. Si David Fincher s'était penché sur le scénar c"'est surement qu'il était exceptionnel

Surement, puisqu'il en est producteur. Mais je ne suis pas sur qu'il ait réellement envisagé de le réaliser lui-même. Le projet lui tenait a coeur, ça c'est clair, donc il le produit, voila tout.
La bande-annonce est moyenne je trouve, et si c'est aussi timorée que Thirteen, ça va pas le faire...

Sinon, c'était pas Fred Durst qui s'était penché dessus, à une époque ? (lequel Durst fait une apparition muette totalement gratuite à la fin de Be cool, on se demande bien pourquoi)
