Some more news has arrived for the extras included on Universal's Jaws: 30th Anniversary Edition due June 14th. The two-disc set will feature a never-before-available vintage interview with Steven Spielberg conducted during the production of the film, a feature-length documentary (I'm assuming this is the full doc from the Signature Collection laserdisc box), deleted scenes, archives, a "Commemorative Photo Journal" and more. The film itself will be presented in anamorphic widescreen, along with Dolby Digital 5.1, 2.0 Stereo and Mono tracks as well as DTS 5.1 Surround. Retail is $22.98.
We've got a little bit of new Jaws: 30th Anniversary Edition information for you today. According to the studio, Disc One will include deleted scenes, outtakes, From the Set and Shark Facts. Disc Two will include The Making of Jaws, storyboards, production photos, Marketing Jaws and Jaws Phenomenon. Since the studio is claiming that the DVD will include "a feature-length documentary," we can only assume that The Making of Jaws is indeed being presented in its original 2-hour version. We'll let you know when we have official confirmation from the studio.
