God bless Onar Films! Right on the heels of their release of of KILINK ISTANBUL'DA, they've just released a double feature disc finishing off Yilmaz Atedeniz's Kilink trilogy! First up is KILINK UCAN KARSI, which finishes the story from the previous DVD, then one of the best Turkish comic book films of all time - KILINK SOY VE OLDUR: and both have English subtitles!
The one caveat is that KILINK UCAN KARSI is missing the ending, but apparently it's been recreated through stills and subtitles. In any shape, this film is quite a find.

KILINK VS SUPERMAN / KILINK STRIP AND KILL DOUBLE FEATURE (1967)
Double bill of Turkish mayhem from Onar Films!
KILINK UCAN ADAMA KARSI/ KILINK VS SUPERMAN/ KILINK VS THE FLYING MAN
The sequel to KILINK ISTANBUL'DA is a film considered "lost" and it was never released on any format anywhere in the world, nor even shown on any TV station anywhere! ONAR FILMS IS PROUD TO BRING IT BACK FROM THE DEAD! It starts with a long prologue which is in fact a tight re-editing of the 1st KILINK. Then it picks up right where the 1st ended.
Sadly, as explained by the director in the interview, the last part of the film was destroyed years ago. However, the missing action is satisfactorily depicted and substituted with a number of stills from the missing segment with a voice-over narration, explaining what's going on. And then, the last, most essential minute of the film is presented in live action again. The original material of this film (as is the case with all Turkish films in general!) are lost or destroyed. ONAR FILMS used the only surviving betacam master and the quality is far from perfect but still, better than KILINK ISTANBUL'DA.
KILINK SOY VE OLDUR/ KILINK STRIP AND KILL
The 3rd film of the series picks up right where KILINK VS SUPERMAN ended, with a short prologue of just 1 minute, taken from the last minute of the previous KILINK. This time there is no SUPERMAN around but there's lots of Kilink, lots of babes and lots of gangster/spy mayhem, with Kilink overwhelming the mob in two continents.
Again, the original material of this film was destroyed decades ago but thankfully, ONAR FILMS found a decent- looking betacam master, with no missing segments. Therefore, the quality of the transfer is not perfect of course, but very good, much better than the previous 2 KILINK films.
