The boundaries between reality and illusion start to fade in this strange tale set in a toy store specialized in antique toys. The boy who works at the toy store is obsessed with tin toys, and there's one particular tin toy he loves more than the rest. In walks a girl wearing shades, and starts telling her own story, a weird and fascinating experience she had with a toy... The movie is based on an award winning horror (short) story by Taizo kobayashi which became a best-seeling paperback. Director Hakubun was voted the most popular director by the poll held at the first "Q FRONT MOVIE SELECTION" event. The movie uses the latest in cinematic technology called the CPF (Critical Point Filter) to create the captivatingly hallucinatory visuals.
