Les Bottom Live

Si on connait bien la série avec Richard Richard et Eddie Hitler, deux losers aussi pathétiques qu'attachants, on connait moins leurs pièces de théatre qui restent inédits en France, alors qu'ils ont pourtant la réputation d'être archi-cultes. Sauf erreur de ma part, il me semble qu'ils n'ont fait que quatre spectacles live.

Je n'ai pu voir que le premier, diffusé sur Jimmy y a des siècles de cela, et j'en garde un extraordinaire souvenir. Deux heures de poilade non-stop, un vrai torrent de dialogues surréalistes, où brille le génie comique de Rik Mayall et Adrien Edmondson.

Alors du coup, je voudrais savoir s'il existe un moyen de voir les trois autres spectacles live. Sont-ils disponibles en DVD import avec au moins des sous-titres anglais? Peut-on espérer que la BBC les sortira un jour en France?

Les DVD sont tous dispo en Z2 UK mais sans aucun sous-titres...

T'es sur, meme pas de sous-titres anglais SDH ?

Et pour la sortie francaise, je pense que c'est comme pour la serie, faut se rabattre sur le Z1.
Mais sinon, Lea Parker et Sous le soleil sont editees en Z2 hein !!! :D

Bon, alors en tout cas, si tu as aimé le 1er, attend toi à un choc en voyant les autres car c'est peut-être le moins bon de tous!!!! (et pourtant, il est déja monstrueux....)

MOi je les ai vu sur scène, nanana.... Sinon, j'ai déjà trois de leurs spectacles en DVD! Hilarant, mais pas de sous-titres!

Bottom 2001: An Arse Oddity (2001) (V)
Whilst performing the show in London, on the second night Rik Mayall accidentally hit Adrian Edmondson with the frying pan during their opening fight sequence, knocking him unconscious, splitting his head open and leaving him with concussion. The show had to be cancelled and Edmondson taken to hospital. The show resumed the following night with rubber props to protect the actors. Also due to the stitches in Edmondson's head, film footage from earlier in the tour had to be used for the video and DVD release of the show.

Dans la vrai vie véritable, Adrian Edmonson est le mari de Jennifer Saunders... A prioris ça tout le monde le sait... Par contre Comment s'appelle Jennifer Saunders dans Ab Fab ? Hein ? Eddie Monsoon... C'est beau l'esprit de famille !!! :D

J'avais également vu le show diffusé sur Jimmy (je me demande à quoi carbure Mayall) et mon adoré frangin m'avait rapporté d'Angleterre la VHS de HOOLIGAN'S ISLAND.

Que mon anglais balbutiant m'a, hélas, privé de savourer à sa juste valeur... :cry:

Il fait 2 apparitions

Episode 5 saison 1 ("Magazine")
Episode 4 saison 2 ("New Best Friend")

Il a aussi réalisé "Mirrorball" en 2002 qui est une sorte de spin-off (unique)de AbFab avec le même cast mais pas les mêmes noms.
