Oui ben les derniers instants de cette saison 2 je les ai trouvés pourtant carrément chiants!
Le personne de John est insupportable et je préfère ne pas parler de sa mère.
Reste les 2 femmes terminator...

@ suivre pour la saison 3 mais suis moyennement convaincu.

La FOX vient de donner la liste des séries qui auront droit cet automne à une nouvelle saison et TSCC n'en fait hélas pas partie.

C'était quand même en dent de scie comme série (m'enfin ce sera toujours au dessus de Jericho ).
Ben maintenant on se retrouve avec une réalité alternative dans l'histoire de Terminator qui n'aura pas de fin.
On retiendra la toujours impeccable Summer Glau par contre

Josh Friedman, le créateur de la série a posté un dernier message sur le blog officiel de la série :

By now most of you have heard the news that T:SCC is cancelled. I received a call earlier today from Peter Roth at Warner Bros. and I appreciate both his personal and professional support throughout this show’s life. I know a lot of you are angry about the cancellation and want to find a place to direct your anger and to that I say do yourself a favor and find a way to move past it. Every network wants a big fat hit, especially one with a brand name behind it, and Fox was/is no different. They supported the show, they supported my vision of the show, and they gave it plenty of time to find an audience.

And what an audience we found: passionate, intelligent, kind of nuts in a good way. My only complaint about the T:SCC fans is that there aren’t ten million of them. But I prefer to be happy for the ones we had instead of lamenting the ones we didn’t.

Good shows are cancelled every year; smart shows, worthy shows, shows which move their viewers to write blogs and have viewing parties and create action figures and bury executives’ email accounts under thousands of messages. I miss Deadwood and The Wire and Arrested Development but thank God that I still have Rescue Me and The Office and a recently renewed Party Down written by ex-T:SCC writer John Enbom.

Bad shows are cancelled, too. And certainly there are those who did not like what we did and had their own vision for what a Terminator TV show should be. It’s easy to look at low ratings or cancellation as “failure” and for those who believe we’ve gone about this all wrong I’m sure today’s news will only serve to confirm a world view that I would never try to change. We’ve written the show as best we can, executed it to the best of our abilities, and sent it out in the world knowing that we worked out asses off to do something that wouldn’t be a waste of anybody’s forty-three minutes.

Thanks to a brave and talented cast, a feature crew working on a TV schedule, and everyone else who I could list but won’t because they know who they are. Mostly I’d like to thank those of you who’ve supported us and fought for us and given up hours of your life to watch our show. At the end of the day, that’s what it’s about. The watching.

Hope we do it again soon.

La sortie de la Saison 2 est repoussée au 22 septembre pour coïncider avec celle de Terminator Salvation. Un mois de plus à attendre donc !

Il y aura bien des sous-titres français présents sur le DVD / Blu-ray et, Warner oblige, on peut supposer que le Blu-ray sera zone free.

Première critique de l'édition blu-ray

Enfin reçu se bijoux qui nous venge de l'affreux film sorti en salle au début de l'été c'est tous simplement excellent, les deux premiers épisodes de cette deuxième Saison mettent bien dans l'ambiance (le T-1000 féminin, Cameron qui pète un cable façon Shwarzy dans le T3) bref c'est excellent.

Après quelques épisodes bien bavards10-17 de cette second saison, j'avoue que le double épisodes 18-19 "Today is the Day" ma littéralement cloué le bec, de l'imprévu tous ces kilomètres de dialogue ont finalement payer. Un vrai bon morceau de bravoure qui renvoie au meilleurs épisodes de la S1 plus que 3 épisodes et s'est la fin

A nouveau une petite note d'espoir pour la suite de TSCC.

Lors de la promo du remake des Griffes de la nuit, Thomas Dekker a laissé entendre qu'une conclusion à la série devrait voir le jour sous la forme d'un direct to DVD.

Après Thomas Dekker, c'est au tour de Brian Austin Green d'évoquer une suite à TSCC :

As some of you know; myself, Jenkehs, and Akuji attended this year's Starfury Convention in London last weekend.

During the meet-n-greet session where the actors visit us table by table and talk for 5 minutes, Jen asked Dekker about the possibility of a continuation and he basically repeated what he'd already told the media so far, but advised her to ask BAG about it as he is more involved in the project. So when Brian came over and Jen popped the question, and after cursing Dekker for putting him on the spot (^_^), he gave us these few tidbits:

> All of the actors are ready and willing to jump back into any continuation, though Lena is currently pregnant at the moment.
> They're pushing to involve Josh Friedman in the writing, but if he is unavailable they're planning to bring in Zack Stenz (and possibly Ashley Miller) and the writers from "Goodbye To All That" to work on it instead.
> James Middleton is in partnership with someone (unnamed) and they're working together to broker a deal for the future.
> A series isn't quite what they're aiming for. A DVD movie or even a proper film is their goal.
> The movie will continue the story exactly how it was supposed to, but they hope that if it's successful they can create a sequel to take it up a notch.
> When asked if fans could donate towards the project, Brian stated that this would be unnecessary as funding is available.

Pretty much all of this we already knew, but both Brian and Dekker made it pretty clear that the ONLY thing holding it up is the licensing agreements and all that red tape.

Lors d'une convention, Summer Glau confirme qu'il n'y aura pas de suite à la série

Me: HI SUMMER! I'M *****. O_O!

Summer: Hi, it's nice to meet you, *****. [shakes my hand]

Me: So um is the Terminator movie going to happen?

Summer: Ohh no sadly, we're all on different shows now so we can't do it..

Me: :O! ... but Thomas and Brian said that they were in talks of having it happen..

Summer: Yeah, they got everyone's hopes up but we can't do it.. but you never know, maybe in the future..


So all in all even though it was amazing to meet her in real life if only for like 3 minutes, it totally crushed me as well that she said that they're not gonna do the movie.. =\ But I still just thought that I should let people know.

j'ai mis du temps à me mettre à la saison2. la saison1 m'avait plutôt déçu. donc s2. ça démarrait bien mal. 4 épisodes peu intéressants aie aie..celui avec Cameron qui perd la mémoire et se comporte en ado fugueuse outch . mais contre toute attente, celui avec la base militaire des cadets a vraiment redressé le niveau. l'histoire contée m'a rappelé je ne sais pourquoi de ces très bons épisodes de "Space 2063".

puis tous ces petits détails sur l'apprentissage de l'IA, sur l'évolution de Catherine weaver. j'ai bien apprécié ce suivi. dommage pour un des épisodes très bien amenés (l'enquête sur les années 30, inattendue et réussie ! et le final peu explicable sur la motivation du Terminator )

l'épisodes sur les "grays" est solitaire. dommage aussi. mais bon même Terminator4 a été coupé de toutes les scènes où les évolutions des grays travaillent pour Skynet.

il y a un truc singulier qd même, on sent une sorte de nécessité de prouver qu'il n'y a pas de racisme dans la série, j'avais retenu ça suite à la remarque dans les années 30 sur le comportement de la machine. et les rôles afro-américains sont les plus importants niveau conseil ou influence sur Skynet (sans compter l'allusion au fils de Dyson)

on sent aussi et l'infiltration de la fille est là pour ça, que John connor va devenir une sorte de ..connard , un gars froid déshumanisé qui préférera les machines.

comparé à la s1 où le bémol vient surtout des acteurs peu inspirateurs (les femmes y jouent mieux je trouve !) une saison2 qui s'est bien redressée (bon là par contre Kyle reese c'était la crise de rire oui vu son look d'ado mal rasé),

mais le final reste quand même peu compréhensible
