Ouais, il est tout pourri ce film. Julian Sands est vraiment naze comme acteur, aussi expressif qu'un mur blanc qui fait la gueule. Il y a bien Asia mais bon, ça ne rattrape pas tout. Je préfère largement la version avec Englund malgré ses défauts.

La musique de Morricone est dans le ton, assez insignifiante.

En effet, Morricone s'était montré plus inspiré et original pour sa précédente collaboration avec Argento, "le syndrome de Stendhal".
Le générique de fin du "Fantôme" est néanmoins très joli...

Extralucid Films sort son édition HD début 2026 mais ne propose apparemment que la version italienne (intégrale?):

la bonne blague.deja re-subir ce machin qui s'enlise méchamment est deja une torture mais s'il faut en plus se fader 34 minutes de Thoret, aucune survivance possible.
Rien sur le film meme. Je passe sans aucun regret.

Pendant ce temps la, Vinegard Syndrome sort Non Ho Sonno en 4K avec une avalanche de nouveaux supplements. je vais pouvoir me débarrasser de l'edition française.

Les éditions HD d'Extralucid Films sont assez soignées mais je trouve ça dommage et un peu étonnant qu'elles ne sortent pas en 4K.

Pour le film en lui-même malgré quelques petites fulgurances plastiques il ne fait pas partie de mes préférés c'est sûr, et c'est un des Argento que j'ai le moins revus (avec "Two evil eyes"/"Le chat noir"),; il ne fonctionne que par intermittences...mais je le prendrais quand même car jusqu'à présent je ne l'avais pas en HD!

s'il faut en plus se fader 34 minutes de Thoret, aucune survivance possible.

Même si son débit de parole est parfois épuisant je trouve quand même Thoret assez intéressant et dense dans les suppléments BR/DVD, et plus abordable qu'a l'écrit.
